Our patios are working overtime.

I knew when I was remodeling the house that my small backyard landscape would play a big role. I love having my family over for bbq’s and entertaining my friends outside (northwest weather permitting). Little did I know that Covid would require the patio to take on so many roles… second living room, social (distancing) hub for friends, fresh air office space and alternative napping spot (for humans and dogs). When planning out this important space, make sure you consider comfort and conversation - sometimes that will drive the entire layout and design.
